Formed in 1983 by Brian Dearlove, the Practice has grown with an expanding, diverse client base with a highly skilled professional team.
Our core clients and their projects' are chiefly situated within the Midlands, but extend to the rest of the UK.
Each commission is overseen by a senior member of staff, allowing our clients to lease with a lead team member at every stage of the project. A strong emphasis is placed on developing a personal relationship with our clients.
Advice is available on all aspects of planning, design, land use, grant-aid and survey work. We also have civil and structural engineering expertise.
The ethos of the practice is to provide our clients with an efficient personal service utilising our wide experience and expertise. The practice has developed skills using modern methods of construction, including the use of timber frame. Currently projects in progress involve sustainable solutions.
With experience ranging from housing estates to home extensions, a large proportion of our work is for the residential market. From inner city apartments, social housing, homes for families to specialist accommodation for the care of the elderly.
In addition to new build, commissions are also taken for refurbishment and change of use.
We also have extensive experience of working with Listed Buildings, ranging from complete interior schemes to remodelling and extensions.
With a wide-ranging portfolio the Practice has a strong track record of co-ordinating projects within demanding schedules under controlled budgets.
The Practice has experience in developing many individual offices and Company Headquarters. We have been at the forefront of creating business parks, comprising of small office units for major developers.
Also previously completed are retail and leisure projects represented in our portfolio by city centre restaurants, boutique hotels and various retail outlets.
Specialist buildings, such as food production facilities; one of our major clients is an international food producer and we also provide service for similar smaller companies. Other projects include petrol fillings stations and healthcare facilities. More specialist commissions include ecclesiastical work, education and day nurseries.
